Itinerary
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful savannah landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, leave Tarangire and continue to Mto wa Mbu, where you will check into your budget accommodation, enjoy dinner and relax for the night. After breakfast, depart from your accommodation and drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After entering Serengeti, begin your game drive as you explore the famous endless plains. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, cheetahs and other wildlife. Wake up early for a morning game drive in Serengeti, when wildlife is often active and the morning light creates excellent conditions for photography. After the game drive, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave the Serengeti plains and travel toward the highlands. Arrive at your budget accommodation in the Ngorongoro area, where you will have dinner and spend the night, ready for the next day's crater adventure. After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.
